Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Welcome to Tarbiyah House. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Tarbiyah House website, our educational resources, and the free courses offered through Rawḍat al-ʿAsāfīr Academy. By accessing or using this website, creating a student account, or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or create an account.
1. About Tarbiyah House
Tarbiyah House creates educational books, study materials, and other resources intended to support the study of foundational Islamic knowledge. Rawḍat al-ʿAsāfīr Academy is the learning platform through which Tarbiyah House provides self-paced educational courses.
Our courses are designed primarily with children and youth in mind, although learners of all ages are welcome to use them.
2. Educational Purpose
The books, courses, lessons, quizzes, activities, and other materials provided by Tarbiyah House are educational resources.
Our materials are intended to support learning and are not a substitute for seeking clarification or religious guidance from qualified people of knowledge when needed. Students and families are encouraged to ask knowledgeable teachers or scholars when questions arise that extend beyond the scope of a course or resource.
We make reasonable efforts to prepare our materials carefully and accurately. Educational resources may nevertheless be corrected, clarified, revised, or updated when necessary.
3. Student Accounts
Some features of the website require a student account. When creating an account, users must provide accurate information and keep their login credentials secure.
Accounts are intended for the individual or family for whom they were created. You may not use another person’s account without permission or attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user’s account.
Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children’s use of the website when appropriate for the child’s age.
If you believe an account has been accessed without authorization, please contact us.
4. Children and Parental Supervision
Tarbiyah House and Rawḍat al-ʿAsāfīr Academy provide resources specifically designed for young learners. Parents and guardians are encouraged to remain involved in their children’s studies and determine whether particular materials are appropriate for their child’s age, maturity, and level of understanding.
Some students may be able to work independently, while others may benefit from studying alongside a parent, guardian, or teacher.
Where parental or guardian consent is legally required for a child’s use of an online service or creation of an account, the parent or guardian is responsible for providing that consent.
Our handling of personal information, including information relating to younger users, is described further in our Privacy Policy.
5. Free Courses
Courses currently offered through Rawḍat al-ʿAsāfīr Academy are provided without a course enrollment fee.
Some courses are designed to accompany a Tarbiyah House book or study guide. When an accompanying book is required or recommended, this will be identified in the relevant course information. Books are separate products and may require purchase.
Providing a course free of charge does not place its course materials in the public domain and does not waive any intellectual property rights associated with those materials.
6. Books and Third-Party Purchases
Tarbiyah House books may be offered through third-party retailers or platforms. Purchases made through another platform are also subject to that platform’s terms, payment policies, delivery terms, and applicable refund or return policies.
Questions concerning a transaction processed entirely by a third-party retailer may need to be directed to that retailer.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, original course materials, lesson content, worksheets, assessments, graphics, website content, curriculum materials, and other original materials created by Tarbiyah House are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a book or accessing a free course gives you permission to use the material for its intended personal or educational purpose. It does not transfer ownership of the material or grant permission to reproduce or redistribute it.
You may not, without prior written permission:
- reproduce or distribute substantial portions of our original materials;
- upload course materials, PDFs, lessons, assessments, or book contents to another website or platform;
- sell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute our materials;
- remove copyright or ownership notices;
- present Tarbiyah House materials as your own work; or
- systematically copy or reproduce course content for redistribution.
Reasonable personal use, including ordinary note-taking and studying within a household, is permitted.
Any Qurʾānic verses, aḥādīth, classical texts, quotations, or other third-party material appearing within our resources remain subject to their respective rights and are not claimed as original works of Tarbiyah House merely because they appear in our materials.
8. Use by Parents and Educators
Parents and educators may use Tarbiyah House resources when teaching their own children or students in accordance with any license or usage terms accompanying the particular resource.
Access to a resource does not automatically grant permission to reproduce entire books, distribute digital copies, publicly upload materials, or create and distribute derivative versions of our original curriculum.
For questions about classroom, school, masjid, or organizational use, please contact Tarbiyah House.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the website in a way that interferes with its operation, security, or other users’ access.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or restricted areas, introduce malicious code, intentionally disrupt the website, misuse account features, scrape or systematically extract protected course materials, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the website, our materials, or other users.
10. Course Availability and Changes
We may add, revise, reorganize, temporarily suspend, or discontinue courses, lessons, features, or other website content.
Because courses are self-paced and currently offered free of charge, continued availability of a particular course or feature is not guaranteed indefinitely. When practical, we will try to avoid unnecessary disruption to students actively using our resources.
11. External Links
The website may contain links to Amazon, Payhip, or other third-party websites and services.
Those websites operate independently from Tarbiyah House. Their content, availability, privacy practices, transactions, and terms are governed by their respective operators.
A link to an external website does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of all content or services available through that website.
12. Website Availability
We aim to keep Tarbiyah House and Rawḍat al-ʿAsāfīr Academy accessible and functioning properly, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, hosting issues, software updates, circumstances outside our control, or changes to the services we use.
13. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and free educational courses are provided on an “as available” basis.
Tarbiyah House does not guarantee that every resource will be suitable for every individual learner or that use of a particular resource will produce a particular educational result.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tarbiyah House will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the website or free educational resources.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14. Privacy
Use of the website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and protected.
Because student accounts may be used by children and young people, parents and guardians should review the Privacy Policy before creating or permitting a child to use an account.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as Tarbiyah House, Rawḍat al-ʿAsāfīr Academy, our resources, or applicable requirements change.
When these Terms are materially updated, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Tarbiyah House’s place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer or other laws require otherwise.
17. Contact Us
